Sampling loops back until it's right. Production doesn't start until it does.
Design and sampling aren't sequential — they're a loop. Staged sample rounds (T0, T1, T2) feed back into engineering until the physical object matches spec. A golden sample is signed off as the standard every production unit is measured against.

Honest frame: a single sample usually means digital print or a placeholder finish. Techniques like embossing or screen printing only become available at production scale — we tell you exactly which is which when your sample arrives.
